Recently I was asked to illustrated an article about insomnia for Nature & Health magazine. 
This is what I came up with!

The Green Parent magazine

Recently I had the pleasure to work with The Green Parent, a lovely magazine in the Uk. 

I was lucky because I was given a very fun topic: celebrations!
Actually the article is about celebrations as a single parent.

Really enjoyed creating this piece.

Detoxing

October is here! And with it also the new issue of Nature and Health magazine with one of my illustration in it!

I really like doing this kind of editorial work lately, it is a good way to step away from bigger projects I usually work on and doing something new and refreshing for a couple of days. 

This one in particular was really fun to make. I even like how it turned out! Maybe because I'm into this kind of themes myself? Maybe. 

Anyway, here it is the initial sketch I did for it followed by the magazine spread.

Teach your children

Another editorial of mine is out!
This one was for Nature & Health magazine. 
It is definitely the most fun editorial I've illustrated so far. I've always had a particular love for maps and this was sort of like drawing one. 
I will definitely try to make something like this again!

New editorial work

I haven't been very good at updating the blog lately...
But that's because I've been really busy! 

I'm finally able to share two pieces of work that have recently been published in a couple of Australian magazines. 
The first one has been published in Child's magazine, a family magazine distributed for free all around Australia. 

Actually, last month I had another piece published in this same magazine... but I forgot to post about it!

Then I had a piece published in Nature and Health magazine. 
I had the pleasure to work with them already earlier in the year (you can read about it here) and I really like this magazine!
Here the published piece. I had a lot of fun with all those pills and herbs!

I'm currently working on other pieces future issues of these magazines... can't wait to share the new illustrations with you!!

Nature & Health editorial

Finally it's out!! The editorial piece I did a couple of months ago for Nature & Health magazine is finally published. You can find it in a very special edition issue called Annual Nutrition Guide 2013. 

This is my first editorial for a mainstream magazine... In order to come up with a piece I was satisfied with, it was actually much more challenging than I thought... I can definitely say this was a real learning curve for me!

Annalemma magazine

Last year I did a couple of illustrations for an independent American magazine called Annalemma magazine.

Yesterday I was going through all the mail I received while overseas and amongst all the bills I found my copy of the printed magazine. What a nice surprise!! 

Annalemma is absolutely gorgeous: beautifully designed, nice paper, lovely format and filled with amazing illustrations!

Straight away, I felt very proud to be part of it. Here are a few shots of the magazine in my hands... have a look!

Spoonful zine

Spoonful zine is a lovely Australian publication that has a lovely homemade feeling, amazing photos + art and some interesting readings.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to contribute with one of my illustration in the last issue.
